Regarding "Bishop out as superintendent."
Perhaps I am misguided, but I am struck by the colossal expenditure to buy out Mr. Bishop's contract. Isn't the $288,000-plus price tag a bit high? I have no idea what the problems with the board were. Still, one wonders if the board is serving the district well by incurring this huge debt at the expense of the children. Someone has some serious explaining to do to the community.
